FAQs about Dental Insurances

  • We offer a variety of different payment plans and financing options that can help you afford your restoration treatments. Not only do we accept cash, credit, and credit, but we also provide 0% and long-term financing through CareCredit. With these plans, you can rest assured that the treatment you require is within reach.

Ask us about our Senior Discounts!

  • Yes- sort of. We know dental insurance can be tricky to navigate! We are considered an "out-of-network" provider with dental insurance plans. If your dental insurance offers out-of-network coverage (many do- meaning you are not assigned to a specific dentist), you will be able to use your dental insurance benefits with us.

We have many patients that have dental insurances (Delta, Aetna, United Concordia, etc) that use their insurance benefits in our office. Please call us to find out more at (610) 449-7002.

  • We are not directly contracted with different dental insurances so our fees are not determined by the insurance companies. You will be able to use your insurance benefits for covered procedures, then be responsible for the difference between what your insurance covers and our fees.

  • For preventative procedures (prophylaxis cleaning, radiographs, check-up’s), many plans will pay for majority of your cost. For additional procedures, you may be responsible for more. Our goal is to always give you a solid estimate of your treatment and fees, so that you can manage and coordinate your dental treatment. For bigger treatments, we are happy to send a preauthorization to your insurance company for a more accurate estimate.

  • Please give us your accurate and up-to-date dental insurance information at each visit. We will file and process dental claims with your insurance, just like any other dental office. Depending on your insurance plan, we may request your portion at each visit.

For plans where we request full payment, insurance companies may send you a check directly. You will keep the reimbursement check the insurance company sends you.

FAQ about Dental Implants

  • If I Am Missing More Than Just One Tooth, Will Dental Implants Still Work For Me?

Yes! Regardless of how many missing teeth you might have, we have a treatment using dental implants that can fit your needs. For our patients who are missing multiple teeth, we can provide treatment using an implant-supported dental bridge or even an implant supported overdenture. While some patients may choose to restore each missing tooth with its own implant fixture and restoration, some patients may be better served by these other treatments.

  • I Am An Older Person; Will I Still Be Able To Receive Dental Implants?

So long as your mouth is strong enough to support the implant and your body is strong enough to undergo surgery, you will be able to have a dental implant placed. While it is true that osteoporosis can potentially interfere with the implant process, this treatment should still succeed so long as the right treatment and appropriate supplemental procedures are used.

  • On Average, How Long Does The Dental Implant Process Take?

The length of time you can expect your dental implant treatment to take depends entirely on you. While the dental implant process usually takes three to six months to complete, time can be added depending on whether or not the patient requires a supplemental procedure beforehand or if they are requiring a large number of implants.

  • How Long Will My Dental Implants Last?

Much like how long the process takes, how long you can expect your implants to last also largely depends on you. So long as you take proper care of your implants, which involves regular brushing, flossing, and checkups, it is possible that your dental implants will end up lasting you the rest of your life.

  • Can Any Dentist Place My Dental Implants?

So long as your potential implant provider has been trained to provide them, they can place your dental implants. However, a dentist with many years of implant-related experience is more likely to be able to provide you with the type of results you are looking for. We recommend you look at our “Choosing an Implant Provider” page to learn more about what you should look for when deciding on a potential implant dentist.

  • How Can I Schedule My Dental Implant Consultation?

If you have done the research and would like to find out if you qualify for treatment with dental implants at our Drexel Hill, PA office, you will need to schedule a no-obligation consultation with Dr. Yesle Kim Traband. To do so, contact our office today.
